The film was selected for several international festivals, including Mar del Plata, Turin, Tbilisi, Vilnius and Cannes 2018 (ACID TRIP section).

In 2018, he directed the short film Filomena commissioned by the Triennale de Arquitectura de Lisboa, to be part of the exhibition Lisbon Acts, having premiered at IndieLisboa 2019.

By Flávio, his most recent short film, filmed in Torres Novas, will premiere at the Berlinale 2022. Pedro Cabeleira is currently developing his second feature film Entroncamento to be filmed in his homeland.
