The Bite in Toronto and New York [29/08/2019]
The Bite, a film by Pedro Neves Marques, will have its world premiere in the prestigious section
Wavelengths of the Toronto International Film Festival. The film's team will attend the event, including Marta Simões, director of photography, who will return to the festival after having been there in 2017 as cinematographer of Flores, by Jorge Jácome, which was also shown in this section of the festival. This same feat was even mentioned by the festival itself, which dedicated a piece of news to Marta Simões to praise her enormous talent.
The film then goes on to the New York Film Festival, which takes place from September 27 to October 13, to join New York to join the Projections section, dedicated to experimental narratives, avant-garde poetics, and crossovers into documentary realms, and contemporary art practices.
Only then will the film be screened in Europe, at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival in Greece.
