What Remains by Daniel Soares in Clermont-Ferrand [15/12/2021]

The Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival has just announced the films selected for the 2022 International Competition, with Portugal being represented by the film What Remains by Daniel Soares, which premiered at this year's IndieLisboa International Film Festival, where it received the award for Best Portuguese Short Film.
This is the first fiction film by this young director who currently resides in the United States of America.

The festival runs from the 28th of January to the 5th of February 2022.

Emilio is a lifelong farmer in his 80’s who lives alone on his abandoned farm. Everyone close is gone. One animal is all there is left. Today is the day he decides to sell it.
