Alexander David

Alexander David (1986, Luso Canadian) studied Acting at the Lisbon Theatre and Film School. Prior to that, he studied Theatre Studies in Évora. His work has primarily been as an actor in Portuguese film productions, collaborating with directors such as Gabriel Abrantes, João Botelho, Rita Nunes, Miguel Clara Vasconcelos, Márcio Laranjeira, and João Pedro Rodrigues. First Age is his debut film as a director, which premiered at the Rotterdam International Film Festival in 2023. He just finished his short film Water Hazard (financed by ICA, GDA, ARTE, and CNC).
