You See the Moon, by Miguel Nunes, in the Official Competition of the festival CPH:DOX [18/03/2019]

CPH:DOX - the Copenhagen International Film Festival, one of the most important European film festivals, will run from the 20th to the 31st of March, announcing today their official selection, in which You See the Moon, first film directed by Miguel Nunes, produced by Videolotion, was selected for the Next: Wave Competition dedicated to young up and coming filmmakers.

You See the Moon talks about a summery Lisbon, where the protagonist, Miguel journeys between apartments, improvised parties, dates with friends and old passions. The film, distributed by Portugal Film - Portuguese Film Agency, had its premiere at IndieLisboa and will now have its international premiere, in a festival where some of the most interesting contemporary filmmakers have been. 

Biography:
Miguel Nunes was born in Lisbon in 1988. Graduated with an MFA in Theatre from the Lisbon Theatre and Film School. Started his career as an actor at the early age of 12 in youth TV series. As an actor he has worked with João Pedro Rodrigues, João Botelho, Teresa Villaverde, Margarida Gil, Ivo Ferreira and others. Won Best Young Actor Award at Lisbon and Estoril Film Festival in 2011 with the feature film "Cisne" directed by Teresa Villaverde. In 2016, Nunes led the cast of "Cartas da Guerra" by Ivo Ferreira - acclaimed by international critics as one of the most important Portuguese movies in recent years. 2018 sets his debut in directing with the short film You See the Moon.
